端午节 is a traditional festival that marks the end of spring. It is also called Hui An in Chinese culture. Since we have been living here for years, my family members and I remember it with great affection.

After collecting fresh embers from the mountains each morning, my father would bring us to his house on a Friday evening at 8:00 o'clock. We would all gather around the fire, sharing stories and laughter. The children would play games, and I would also watch them play. As the sunset arrives, we would all rest in silence, waiting for our parents to join us.

During this time, my brother would lead the way as he plays the drums. He would call everyone by name— "哥哥们、姐姐们" — and even when it's dark, he would still call them "兄弟姐妹们". When they play, the boys would shout, and the girls would dance on their heels. The children would be joyfully sitting around the fire, spreading warmth in the evening.

The mother would keep her eyes fixed on us. As I played instruments, she checked my phone. When she saw how many friends I had, even though there weren't enough toys for everyone, she would count them and offer more to those who needed help. It was a simple, yet warm, way of sharing love.

My mother would bring rice and water to the family in time for Sunday dinner. She would cook meals together, especially for us. Since we have always eaten together since childhood, I don't feel anything different.

屈原 is an ancient Chinese poet whose birthday is May 27. Despite his untimely death, hundreds of people remember him and his contributions to culture. On his wedding day, he chose a traditional way to honor him— scattering grains in water on the shore. This is one of the traditional customs of the Chinese nation.

Pudding is a traditional dish in many regions. People eat it during festivals. It is eaten with rice or noodles and sugar. The shape of the pudding varies based on the ingredients used. 100 grams of rice, two hundred grams of sugar, and one hundred eighty grams of flour make a perfect pudding.

The traditional way to eat pudding is through rhythmic singing. Children and parents would gather around a fire to celebrate. They would bring up clothes and food together: rice with salted meat, noodles with red and white threads, or bread sticks with sticky glue.

When the children were young, they would make wooden figures of various animals, including dragons and gnomes. They would draw characters according to the story.

端午节 is not only one of China's great festivals but also an important historical and cultural event. During this day, we all make our own traditional dishes— "bouquet of rice" to remember my village.

In ancient China, the dragon is a symbol that represents good luck and harmony. The people of our village chose to honor this by making wooden figures of dragons with glowing lights in the dark.

Children would gather around a fire and make stories or songs about their lives. They would sing "Dong Qi" together when it was time to eat their noodles.

Each holiday is an opportunity to celebrate life, growth, and love. Whether it's making traditional foods, playing rhythm games, or listening to music, we all have something unique to offer.
